Health Benefits of Avocados

Avocados seem to be a popular new craze dominating the food industry. You can find them most popularly on almost any brunch menu, some of the latest Instagram posts and of course at the infamous Chipotle (Yes, I know the guac is extra). Many people do not know the wonderful health benefits that incorporating a healthy amount of avocado in your diet can provide. Here are some health benefits.

1. They include 20 different vitamins and minerals. 2. Avocados by themselves do not contain any sodium or cholesterol. 3. They can lower your bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels, ultimately reducing your risk of heart disease!

4. Did you know they contain more potassium than a banana? 5. Because avocados contain many fat soluble nutrients, it can easily absorb nutrients from other foods.

6. They are loaded with fiber! most people do not intake the recommended amount of fiber per day!
